Overhauled Patrons, Bases, and Street Brawl
This showcase rebuilt both Patrons and their bases, added six new heroes, and introduced Street Brawl — a fast-paced game mode where two teams join a quick 4v4 battle for the city across a best-of-five match. Each round takes a couple of minutes and every player starts with equal resources (no farming). The update also refreshed the HUD, reworked the settings, and delivered a revamped postgame with a new MVP scoring system plus a summary graph that tracks all permanent buffs collected during the match.

Old Gods, New Blood Hero Rollout Begins
New heroes release two per week on Mondays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM PST, starting January 26th. Players vote on the release order, earning votes by playing (First Win of the Day grants bonus votes) and casting them in the new Pregame lobby — where the winning team's votes count double — or at the Hideout ballot box. New Hero Priority Tokens let players more reliably select new heroes. New items arriving alongside this update include Ballistic Enchantment, which imbues an ability with increased range and grants weapon damage per target hit, and Recharging Rush, which replenishes a charge for each charged ability when you deal significant Weapon Damage.

The Cursed Apple Gets a Massive Visual Overhaul
A massive visual update to the map and its neutrals. It added six new heroes, introduced a mysterious wandering merchant known as The Broker, refreshed the HUD and shop, expanded the sandbox, and shipped dedicated accessibility settings for visuals, audio, and controls — including enemy UI color options, VO subtitles with customization, auto move, auto fire, auto mantle, reduced camera shake, and reticle updates.

The Broker and Corrupted Items
The Broker exchanges your high tier items for Corrupted versions such as Corrupted Ricochet and Corrupted Recharge. He appears in different spots, stays only a few days, and is only around for a limited time, so catching him is a race. Each match, all corrupted items get random negative attributes drawn from a predefined set, making every trade a high-risk, high-reward gamble.

Haunts, New Objectives, and Reworked Neutrals
The neutrals you knew were replaced by a variety of creatures called Haunts with new behaviours, and their soul value and comparative difficulty are now shown in the HUD. The map also gained high-reward objectives like the Sunken Plaza beneath the district's main square and the Chinatown Bell Tower, plus Tough Crates that require a Heavy Melee to break open, revamped golden Buff Containers that now grant Spirit Resist, Bullet Resist, Ability Range, and Move Speed, Healing Snacks hidden around the map, and Steam Vents that provide invisibility and a small amount of regen while standing on them.
